Paralegals are an important part of our legal system. They are the “backbone” of the legal arena. Preparing court cases, talking to victims of crime, and assisting our clients in court, are just some of the duties of a Paralegal. Becoming a paralegal seemed to be the perfect path for me, my reasons are professional and personal. I am driven to help the general public which in turn helps me learn more and more about our court system and litigation. In my work, not only am I aiding my clients but their families as well. This realization brings me great satisfaction.
